The Western Downs Regional Council continues to upgrade essential road, bridge and footpath infrastructure in the Wandoan area. With a capital expenditure program of $47.8 million, allocating $35.6 million of this towards the upkeep of the region’s 7,500 kilometres of roads, this regional council awarded the work to Shadforth’s Civil who in-turn called on SDC Group for support.


Western Downs Regional Council Mayor Paul McVeigh said, “Roads and bridges are the lifeblood of regional communities, connecting residents with essential services and most importantly their families. SDC Group is always happy to work with companies like Shadforth’s Civil in regional or remote areas, this project was a prime example of how companies can work together for great outcomes.
